Salary: $45 - $55 per hour
About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Carpenter/Leading Hand to join a growing team. You will play a key role in residential construction projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship, project efficiency, and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Complete all carpentry tasks across new builds and renovations.
- Read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and project managers.
- Ensure OHS and environmental compliance on-site.
- Deliver projects on schedule and to high standards.
Qualifications
- Cert III in Carpentry with strong residential construction experience (stick frame).
- Broad knowledge of building practices and renovation expertise.
- Ability to efficiently read and execute plans and drawings.
- Experience in residential construction projects.
- Must have own tools, reliable vehicle, and a valid driver’s license.
- Strong work ethic, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Positive, can-do attitude with attention to detail.
