At Construction-Recruitment, we specialise in connecting talented individuals with leading construction companies in QLD. We are currently partnering with a reputable construction firm in search of two skilled Foremen to join their team for large-scale residential projects.

Positions Available

  • Foreman for a 45 Townhouse project in Mango Hill, focusing on civil works. High-volume residential experience required. Site-based role, strong in finishes.
  • Foreman for a 54-unit project in Capalaba, also focusing on civil works. Commercial residential experience required. Site-based role, experience in concrete structures and finishes.

 

Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced Foremen to support the Site Manager in overseeing the successful delivery of large residential projects. As a Foreman, you will coordinate trades, ensure site safety, and maintain project timelines.

 

  • Work and support the Site Manager to execute the construction plan for the townhouse projects.
  • Oversee the delivery of residential homes, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
  • Prioritise site safety by enforcing regulations, conducting regular inspections, and providing guidance to tradespeople on safe work practices.
  • Direct trades and coordinate deliveries to maintain efficient workflow on site.
  • Report directly to the Site Manager, providing updates on project progress and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Foster positive working relationships with tradespeople, making their work environment conducive to productivity and safety.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of work experience on residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Strong background with a focus on delivering residential homes, commercial buildings, and townhouses.
  • Familiarity with large-scale residential projects or commercial construction is essential.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate trades on site.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safety-conscious work environment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Trade Qualified Carpenter.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and tradespeople to achieve project objectives.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
