Project Details
- The Senior Contract Administrator will handle a 35-unit, 7-storey project in MT Gravatt, including a 2-level basement. Commercial residential experience is required. Office/Site-based role.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will be pivotal in the project lifecycle, overseeing contractual agreements, managing budgets, and ensuring smooth project delivery. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive success and uphold our commitment to quality and efficiency.
- Oversee the administration of construction contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with project teams to review and negotiate contract terms, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare, evaluate, and administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Conduct thorough contract reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
- Manage the financial aspects of contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
- Resolve contractual disputes and claims in a timely and effective manner.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
Qualifications
- 5 years of work experience as a Senior Contract Administrator in the commercial/residential construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, construction contracts, and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse complex contract documents and identify key terms and conditions.
- Experience in financial management related to contracts.
- Familiarity with construction project management software.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
