About us

Construction-Recruitment specialises in connecting highly skilled professionals with leading construction firms nationwide. We are currently collaborating with a prominent construction company in search of an experienced Site Manager to oversee a prestigious townhouse project comprising 160 units.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a technically proficient Site Manager to orchestrate the flawless execution of a significant residential project. As a key liaison between project stakeholders, you will report directly to the Construction Manager, leveraging your expertise to navigate complex challenges and drive project success.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with client requirements, regulatory standards, and project objectives.
  • Utilize advanced project management software to meticulously track project progress, allocate resources, and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to assess construction quality, identify potential hazards, and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and optimize construction processes.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including material sourcing, vendor negotiations, and inventory management, to ensure timely project delivery within budget constraints.
  • Analyze project performance metrics and implement data-driven strategies to optimize resource allocation and enhance project efficiency.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by providing technical guidance, conducting training sessions, and fostering cross-functional collaboration among project teams.

 

Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant work experience as a Site Manager or equivalent role in residential and commercial construction settings, demonstrating a deep understanding of construction methodologies and industry best practices.
  • Valid QBCC license, accompanied by relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or related fields.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement innovative solutions to drive project success.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, demonstrated through the effective management of multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management.
