The Role and Responsibilities

Supporting Project Managers, assisting with daily tasks

Running reports and making budget adjustments for the General Manager

Reviewing subcontractor progress claims and producing payment schedules

Maintaining insurances and checking compliance
-
Office duties - answer phones, maintain IT, order stationary, processing weekly timesheets and liaising with payroll, employee reimbursements, invoice approvals.

Plumbing packages of large Tier 1 commercial building projects
Requirements for this role

2 years + in an administration role working on large commercial construction projects

Proficiency in Aconex, Bluebeam, WebFM and the Microsoft suite of programs including Microsoft project; experience with Timberline, preferred

Exceptional time management with the ability to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines
-
The ability to liaise professionally and courteously with internal staff, builders, architects, suppliers and merchants
-
Sound commercial understanding regarding subcontractor set up and assessing progress claims and completing
-
payment schedules.

A supportive and collaborative 'can- do' attitude.
This is a very important role as it enables Cooke & Dowsett's Project Managers to focus on their projects, knowing that all of the back-end paperwork is in order, enabling the team to perform at its peak.
